BURGERSFORT – The mining town of Burgersfort will be abuzz with gospel music lovers from various parts of our country including South Africa’s neighbouring SADC countries, such as Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Mozambique on November 25 when the crème-de-la-crème of gospel music will be performing on the same stage.

Probably for the first time ever, South Africa’s greatest gospel singers such as Benjamin Dube, Dr Tumi, Blondie Sexwale and Winnie Mashaba will converge on the valley of the Spekboom River at the edge of the Bushveld Complex in the Greater Tubatse Local Municipality, near the border of the two provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga to entertain their ever-growing fan base. Presented by Ziyaphenduka Marketing and Events in collaboration with the Limpopo Tourism Agency, AfriRent Fleet Management and Thaba Moshate Hotel and Casino, this annual Praise and Worship Gospel Concert is expected to also include local gospel groups at the picturesque venue which is situated in the Moroni Mountains and is Peermont’s newest casino resort, Thaba Moshate Hotel Casino Convention Resort, which is a world of wonder, excitement and colour.

With its isiNdebele and Sepedi-inspired architecture and features, Thaba Moshate is regarded as the best venue the event has provided since its launch years ago. The event was last year held at the Laerskool Stadium Burgersfort, where late gospel star Sfiso Ncwane performed for the very last time.

Ziyaphenduka founder Bruce Kgapane said the event is expected to continue to spiritually inspire people and bring them closer to God.

“The event which is also going to be better, bigger and most secured will continue to give local talent and for artists a stage to express themselves in gospel music,” said Kgapane.

Normal tickets will cost R200 and VIP ones R660.
